  • project Management for the supply of a complete medical glass production plant
  • project Management of a R&D project for glass tube production considering specific forming technology
  • leading the Engineering for specific projects (incl. all internal and external communications / decisions e.g. plant layout, mechanical design, electrical and piping design)
  • leading the commissioning of electrical and gas heated glass furnaces in Mexico and Latvia

  • PhD in the field of "glass melting processes in glass melting furnaces”
  • as assistant activities concerning laboratory furnaces design (technology, thermal and electrical engineering, partially commissioning of monofilament glass fibre drawing system, residue quartz glass evaluation furnace and a 12 t/d research furnace for rolled glass application) and execution of industrial research projects (porous burner application, pelletising and compacting of glass raw materials with melting process evaluation in the laboratory and at a 1 t/d day furnace)

  • application of high temperature electrochemistry concerning oxygen bubble formation at platinum tube systems, corrosion mechanisms and particle formation at glass melting electrodes
