Beruflicher Werdegang

Vita:

  • 1994 Ulrich Werner received the Dipl.-Ing. degree from the University FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and 2006 the Dr.-Ing. degree from the University of Technology, Darmstadt, Germany.
  • From 1994-2014 he worked for Siemens AG in Nuremberg, Germany, where he became 2008 the head of the motor simulation group in the development department of industrial electrical motors. Additionally, he became 2013 Senior-Key-Expert "Simulation and Modeling" of the Siemens AG.
  • Since 2014 he is Professor at the Nuremberg Tech, Faculty EFI, in Nuremberg with focus on mechatronic systems and simulation/modeling. His special areas of expertise are rotordynamics of electrical machines and vibration analysis.
