First double degree graduation at the Providence University in Taiwan of the ib student Esra Ibish

Esra Ibish is one of the first graduates who successfully finished her studies within the double degree agreement between TH Nuremberg and Providence University in Taiwan.

In the following, she shares a brief inside of her experiences: My name is Esra Ibish and I am a 24-year-old International Business graduate from TH Nuremberg, as well as a Business Administration graduate from Providence University, Taiwan… Correct… 4 years of studies and 2 Bachelor degrees. And all of this thanks to the amazing opportunity provided by these two partner universities to participate in a double degree program. Making this decision was definitely one of the best ones I have made in my life. Not only were the delicious bubble tea and the beautiful Taipei 101 building that deeply impressed me, but also the exceptional kindness and friendliness of the locals, the high level of safety. Forgetting your phone on a bench and finding it after 3 hours there again... Priceless... Scooters with their keys hanging on them... Priceless... I have already been in more than 25 countries globally, but Taiwan is the one that left a mark on my heart. Providence University is highly welcoming and caring of its students, especially the international ones. What impressed me was that they put so much effort into making your stay as smooth as possible, and into integrating you to the local life in the country. You are being literally assisted for everything from A to Z. Learning Chinese can be another unforgettable challenge and experience for you, which will help you dive even deeper into the local culture. From a touristic point of view, the country is a hidden pearl for me, which needs to be seen at least once in your life. No matter if you like diving, or if you enjoy mountain trips, Taiwan has something to offer to everybody. Just give it a try, and you will not regret it.
