Xamk is arranging the Xamk Summer School of Gaming (3 ECTS) on 4 – 10 August, 2025. We are delighted to invite your students to spend a week in the beautiful city of Mikkeli!

 

The Summer School will focus on Essentials of Video Game Creation (3 ECTS) and will teach you how to create a video game by studying concept design and development. You will learn in practice how to develop a basic game concept, from an idea to a pitch, without needing to have a background of previous gaming studies.

 

The classes will be held by gaming industry professionals:

• Dr. Jan Storgårds: with over 25 years of experience in the gaming industry, he is entrepreneur, Director of CADGI (Cambridge Academy of Games and Innovation) and CEO of Cambridge Gamechanger ltd. He has also experience working with start-ups and early-stage technology companies including video games studios.

• James Shepherd: CEO Cypherdelic Limited and Head of Studio at nDreams, who just recently published Ghostbusters VR. Double Bafta and Develop winning executive responsible for delivering multi-million selling products. He has been working for both Microsoft (creating the Xbox games community 'Upload' and the app 'Upload Studio') and Sony (delivering triple 'A' products including ‘Heavenly Sword’and ‘LittleBigPlanet’.

From June 30 to July 18, 2025, the ULPGC organizes a Summer School, an intensive Spanish learning program, accompanied by fun and interesting cultural and recreational activities. Was ist die Sommeruniversität?

Die Sommeruniversität vermittelt Studierenden innerhalb von vier Wochen einen

differenzierten landeskundlichen und kulturellen Einblick in das heutige China. Vorträge,

Seminare und Workshops zu chinaspezifischen Gegebenheiten und Entwicklungen aus den

Bereichen Gesellschaft, Wirtschaft und Recht bilden den Kern der Sommeruniversität. Sie

werden flankiert durch Veranstaltungen aus dem Bereich Geschichte, Politik und geografischer

Landeskunde. Ein Sprachkurs sowie Exkursionen zu chinesischen und internationalen

China: Shanghai CDHAW Summer School 2025 | Bewerbungsfrist: 23.05.2025

Die CDHAW Summer School möchte interessierten Studierenden einen umfassenden Einblick in China, insbesondere in Shanghai, sowie in die Kultur, Sprache und Wirtschaft des Landes bieten. Das Programm umfasst Kultur- und Sprachunterricht sowie zahlreiche kulturelle Aktivitäten, wie das Ausprobieren traditioneller chinesischer Handwerkskunst, Ausflüge in andere Städte, Dörfer und beeindruckende Landschaften sowie Darbietungen und Ausstellungen chinesischer Kunst.

Embark on an enriching journey with Symbiosis International, Deemed University, SIU's, Study India Program (SIP)

 

SIP is conducted by SCIE under the Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India. The SIP is a great blend of academic sessions combined with experiential learning opportunities like industry visits, working in community to gain a cultural exposure through exploring the rich heritage that Pune has to offer.

The Study India Program (SIP) offered by the Symbiosis Centre for International Education under the aegis of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is an intensive, tailor-made, three weeks program which offers the students an unparalleled opportunity to combine academics with cultural immersion activities. The SIP consists of bespoke short-duration courses in Management, Economics, Law, Design, Engineering, IT & Technology, Media, Humanities, Health, Communication Skills and Liberal Arts. Along with the academic modules, This program includes industry visits, cultural trips showcasing the fascinating world of India’s rich and diverse cultural heritage, workshops on various arts etc. The underlying element of a ‘cultural thrill’ remains pronounced during the promotion and execution of this program.

 

1. Academic Content : Facilitates understanding of the political make-up of India, the financial systems, the emerging markets, large and small scale industries, public and private partnerships, and social and administrative structures etc.

2. Cultural Content : Helps the participants to be rich in experience through exposure to Indian mythology and Indian History, Indian films, Indian arts and handicrafts, appreciation of Indian dance and music, appreciation of Indian cuisine, Indian languages and age-old Indian traditions.

3. Industrial Visits : Organized at different companies and industries etc. to allow the participants to gain a practical first hand experience of all that is introduced and taught in the academic modules.

4. Cultural Visits : Include visits to Indian villages as well as cultural heritage sites of India. This gives the students an opportunity to experience real Indian life and also appreciate the rich and varied culture of India.

 

SIP is open to undergraduate students from different disciplines, and we welcome students from all corners of the globe to make it truly multicultural.

 

Duration of Program: July 14th - August 1st, 2025.

The International Summer School (ISS) at Konkuk University (KU) is a four-week long program summer school that provides a great opportunity for international students to learn about the history, language and culture of Korea. The program is recommended to all students who wish to gain an in-depth understanding of Korea and enjoy their summer to the fullest while experiencing unique extracurricular programs and field trips. Academic performance of a student will be assessed at the end of the program, and a certificate of completion will be issued as requested. Students will be informed of the finalized course schedule by email prior to their arrival.

Ajou University is a leading research university in South Korea established in 1973, located in the greater Seoul area.
