MSAD = eduroam WLAN/Wi-Fi and login for university PCs

You can change your password for signing in to university PCs by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete (Strg + Alt + Entf) simultaneously on any university PC.

This password is also valid for accessing eduroam.

M365 = for email, calendar, Teams, M365 file storage systems

This account login is used for email and calendar services (Exchange Online) and for other Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, MS Teams, and Office
 

• To change your M365 password

If you can no longer access your account (for example, because you have forgotten your password), request the ‘M365-Passwort ändern’ (‘Change Microsoft 365 password’) service in StudiSoft - please note the information provided in StudiSoft (in particular, regarding waiting periods).

my.ohm = for the VPN and online services like StudyOhm, VirtuOhm, Moodle, …

Your my.ohm account login is used for many services, including: StudyOhm, VirtuOhm, Moodle, VPN, and services provided by other universities (= Shibboleth services).

Only accessible within the university network!

Password requirements

The university’s password requirements are:

• At least 14 characters
• At least 1 capital and 1 lower case letter (umlauts or ß are not permitted)
• At least 1 numeral
• At least 1 special sign - permitted signs: + & < ? > # ! %

If you are changing passwords, please remember all of your logins: M365, my.ohm, and your university computer login.
Please note that the passwords for each account must be set separately.
The passwords for each account must be different and only be used for university services!
Remember to update any saved logins in applications or on mobile devices promptly.
