Legal form

Nuremberg Tech is a corporation under public law in accordance with Article 11, paragraph 1, sentence 1 of the Bavarian State Higher Education Act (BayHSchG) ***). It manages its own affairs in the capacity of a corporation (corporate affairs), and state matters in the capacity of a state institution – Article 12, paragraph 1 of the Bavarian State Higher Education Act ***).

Nuremberg Tech’s statutory representative is the President, Prof. Michael Braun. The President is the Officer in the sense of Section 5 of the German Telemedia Act *) and Section 55 of the German Interstate Broadcasting Convention **). Responsibility for contributions identified by name or with a separate legal notice shall lie with the respective authors.

The University Communications Department of Nuremberg Institute of Technology offers banner advertising free of charge for companies that provide chargeable services or other chargeable products. The University Communications Department of Nuremberg Institute of Technology assesses applications to determine whether they comply with the university’s existing principles, concepts, or guiding principles and applicable law in particular.
