Only two to three per cent of students in Germany currently receive a scholarship. That figure is very low compared to other industrialized nations. Nuremberg Institute of Technology would like to change that and has been issuing Deutschlandstipendien to students since winter semester 2011.

The Deutschlandstipendium scholarships are provided by companies, institutions, and individuals , and are doubled with funds from the German government.

Further information on the federal initiative can be found at www.deutschlandstipendium.de.
