Are you globally oriented? International degree programmes open up doors around the world!

Internationality is of great importance at the Ohm. Taking an internationally oriented bachelor’s or master’s degree programme gives you an opportunity to expand your horizons beyond your own culture. With the exception of the bachelor’s programme in International Business and Technology, the degree programmes listed below are taught entirely in English. The university also offers a broad range of double degrees consisting of a university-level qualification from both the Ohm and from an institution abroad.

Tuition for students from countries outside of the EEA

At the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm (the Ohm), tuition is charged for students from non-EEA countries pursuant to Art. 13, para. 3 of the Bavarian Higher Education Innovation Act (BayHIG). The tuition fees are 1000 euros per semester for students enrolling as of winter semester 2026/27.

For students who are already enrolled at the Ohm, the conditions stated in your tuition fee statement remain valid.

Tuition fees enable us to further improve the student experience and general conditions for students, for example in developing curriculums, expanding counseling and support offers, and improving infrastructure.

More information is available on our website.

Quick guide: Will I need to pay tuition?

International students may be subject to tuition. This series of questions will provide a quick, but unbinding, orientation about whether you will need to pay tuition at the Ohm. Please note that this series of questions only provides orientation and does not constitute a binding statement regarding your tuition obligation.
