The Ohm’s profile in research activity and track record in securing third-party-funded research projects sets an attractive environment for its over 220 young researchers and allows us to offer excellent conditions for applied research and development. A broad range of contacts and cooperative agreements with other research institutions, and industry and political partners enable young researchers to establish a large network at an early stage in their career and benefit from the extraordinary breadth of expertise.

Integration in active research in combination with tailored training promotes the individual development of early career researchers and qualifies them for further activities within and outside of academia.

The Doctoral Research Center Office is located within the University Research Services (ZWTT) and provides central services and counseling for young researchers (prospective and current doctoral candidates as well as research associates) at the Ohm.
