Nuremberg Tech offers a range of online services

In these times of continually developing digitalization, the university faces the question of how it can guarantee personal and individually tailored advice or personal service for a large number of students and an even larger number of prospective students. For this reason, Nuremberg Tech has been constantly developing a range of services over many years, including through digital channels, in order to address this challenge.


Application portal

You can apply for admission to our degree programmes in our StudyOhm application portal - it’s easy and convenient! To register for the portal, you will need a valid email address to which all future information concerning your application will be sent.

Please note that the application process and application period differ between the various degree programmes.

Hochschuljobbörse

The “Hochschuljobbörse” is an online platform for job opportunities for students, graduates, and alumni. With its opportunities for internships, bachelor’s theses, master’s theses, doctorates, dual study options, working student placements, entry into the workplace, and “Young Professionals”, the platform is perfectly aligned with the needs of our students.

Idea Exchange

The Idea Exchange (in German) is where you can help shape Nuremberg Tech. It provides the opportunity to promptly and easily address every type of idea, wish, or suggestion that could improve our community and how we interact at Nuremberg Tech.

Online self-assessments

The Online self-assessments (OSA) platform provides two options: The general academic aptitude test to examine general motivation and pre-requisites for university study and subject-specific degree programme assessments. These assessments examine the subject-specific pre-requisites for a specific degree programme.

QM portal

The QM portal generally ensures the online access to and availability of all current processes, workflows and the forms and documents associated with them.

Student Counseling Portal

The Student Counseling Service at Nuremberg Tech offers prospective and current students an online advisory platform – the Student Counseling Portal. (in German) In the portal you can access information and counseling online, anonymously and at any time .

Studi-Talks: Ask those who know!

Under the motto “Ask the people who know”, (in German) students from various bachelor’s degree programmes will be available to answer your questions, report on their own experiences, and provide advice on studying and applying.

Virtual consultation and online presentations

In addition to “normal” student counseling by phone or email, you can also get information and advice about studying and choosing a course of study online, face-to-face and via chat. Use your time at home to find out more about the options for students at Nuremberg Tech!
