Open access to licenced services in the university network

The access authorization is verified by IP address or via  EZProxy. Most e-media can be accessed directly on campus without any further authentication. However, accessible within the university network also means that Nuremberg Tech’s students and staff can access most library services at home.  In most cases, one can use the VPN, but EZProxy is also becoming more frequently used. You can find out which authentication process is used in DBIS . Please use the links from the library’s webpage or in OPAC. It is not recommended to search for an e-resource using a search engine, because under certain circumstances it may only be possible to access the resource via a link that is specific for our university.
