Electronic services offered by the library

In addition to physical media (books, journals, CDs, DVDs, etc.), the library also provides a large selection of digital media. These can usually be accessed throughout the entire university network (campus licence).

However, this also means that university members can access most library services at home by authenticating themselves in the university network with the Central IT department. In most instances, to access the materials, you will need use EZProxy.

We recommend always noting the information about each database in DBIS, because there will remain some providers that cannot be used off campus or use their own authentification processes (e.g. Beck-Online, Linkedin Learning).

The open access databases and the historical sources are exceptions to this as they are all freely available.
