Email & calendar (Exchange Online)

This is where you can read and send emails. You can also manage appointments, plan tasks, and save your contacts.

VirtuOhm

Online registration for courses, Ohmcard administration, internship databases, registering licence plate numbers for underground parking

StudyOhm

Registering for the semester, paying semester fees, viewing/downloading official letters or certificates, changing contact information, registering for exams, viewing grades/transcripts

eLearning

Link to access Moodle, the primary eLearning system at the Ohm.

FAUbox

A file sharing platform you can use for sharing files within the Ohm or with users from outside the Ohm including members of FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, TU Nürnberg, HAW Ansbach, TH Aschaffenburg, HAW Coburg, TH Ingolstadt, KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

BayernCollab

A wiki platform for project and knowledge management that facilitates collaboration within the Ohm or with other universities in Bavaria.

Settings and passwords

M365 password

Click this tile to access your M365 account and change your password. This account login is used for email and calendar (Exchange Online) and for other Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, MS Teams, and Office. To reset your password, request the ‘M365-Passwort ändern’ (‘Change Microsoft 365 password’) service in StudiSoft - please note the information provided in StudiSoft (in particular, regarding waiting periods).

my.ohm password

Click this tile to change your password for your my.ohm login. (Only accessible within the university network!) This login is used for StudyOhm, VirtuOhm, eLearning, VPN, and Shibboleth services.

University PCs and Wi-Fi password

To change your password for your login account to access the university drives (Windows domain MSAD) or for Wi-Fi on campus (eduroam), press Crtl+Alt+Delete (Strg+Alt+Entf) simultaneously on any university PC.

The university’s password requirements are:

  • At least 14 characters
  • At least 1 capital and 1 lower case letter (umlauts or ß are not permitted)
  • At least 1 numeral
  • At least 1 special sign - permitted are only: + & < ? > # ! %

If you are changing passwords, please remember all of your logins: M365, my.ohm, and your university computer login.

Please note that the passwords for each account must be set separately.

The passwords for each account must be different and only be used for university services!

Remember to update any saved logins in applications or on mobile devices promptly.
