The University of Bergamo has been organizing courses in the Italian language and culture for foreigners since 1978. Among its various teaching activities, CIS offers each Summer an international intensive course of Italian Language, in the month of July (the next edition is from 29 June to 17 July 2026).

Italy: BIP Short-Term Program UniTrento | Application deadline: 2 March 2026

BIP - Short Term Programs for International Students

 

addressed to senior Bachelor’s students (who have finished the 2nd year of studies) and all Master’s students coming from partner universities.

Two Summer schools will take place at UniTrento both from 29 June to 10 July 2026:

- Summer School SLICE II - Stories of Linguistic and Cultural Encounters - 2nd edition

- Summer School NEMESI II - Futuristic Spaces and ArchiLectures: Depero scenarios for Trento - 2nd edition

Please notice that the nomination on your part is NOT needed (unless you need it) and students are asked to apply directly online from 2 February to 2 March 2026.

If applicable, they might at this stage contact you to enquire about the availability of an Erasmus+ short-term mobility scholarship/contribution.

 

Selection of admitted participants is carried out by the UniTrento academic coordinators and you will receive in the second half of March the list of admitted students and instructions in case they move within the Erasmus+ program. For this purpose, in the on-line application students will be asked to insert the contact information for the relevant office or person at your institution.

 

In the event that the minimum number of students required for the Summer School to qualify as a Blended Intensive Programme is not reached, the programme will not be reported as a failed BIP and will not affect you: the mobilities of the students may instead be imported as Erasmus short-term mobility within the Beneficiary Module.

All students will receive a fee waiver.

Our Scholarships program is open until 31 January 2026. Students can learn how to apply on the website.

Students can earn a minimum of 6 ECTS credits while exploring the capital city of Zagreb and the coastal town of Šibenik.

International students can earn an extra 4 ECTS credits in our free Croatian Language and Culture program, where they will discover interesting facts about Croatian culture and even learn a bit of Croatian to make them feel right at home!

The full tuition fee for students amounts to 1990.00 euro per program. For students from partner universities, the full partner tuition amounts to 1791.00 euro per program.

The Early Bird tuition fee amounts to 1691.50 euro per program. If your students apply before 15 March (Early Bird deadline) and cover the tuition costs by 31 March, the Early Bird partner tuition amounts to 1522.35 euro.

In case partners nominate a group of students, group discounts are calculated depending on the group size.

 

Tuition includes:

• Lunch on all class days

• Organized transportation between Zagreb and Šibenik

• Sightseeing tours in Zagreb and Šibenik

• Industry speakers and guest lecturers

• Specialized workshops

• Social events and student activities

Antibiotherapy and boosters testing to control biofilm resistance

The Faculty of Engineering – University of Porto (FEUP/U.Porto) is pleased to announce the upcoming Winter School entitled “Antibiotherapy and boosters testing to control biofilm resistance”, which will take place in Porto, Portugal, from 16 to 20 March 2026, in the framework of the European project InnovAntiBiofilm.

This intensive training programme is designed for Master and PhD students interested in antimicrobial resistance, biofilms, and innovative therapeutic strategies. The programme combines lectures with hands-on laboratory sessions, providing participants with the opportunity to explore antibiotherapy and booster compounds, and to learn cutting-edge techniques to address biofilm-associated resistance.

Within four weeks, the Summer University provides students with a comprehensive insight into the regional and cultural aspects of today's China. Lectures, seminars and workshops on China-specific conditions and developments in the fields of society, economics and law form the core of the Summer University. They are complemented by events in the fields of history, politics and geography. A language course and excursions to Chinese and international companies round off the programme. Who can participate in the Summer University?  

Students at all Bavarian universities and universities of applied sciences.  

 

When and where will the Summer University take place? 

It is currently planned that the Summer University will take place in August 2026 (exact dates will published at a later time) in Qingdao, a port city in Shandong Province in the east of the People’s Republic of China with a population of 2.6 million.

 

Cost breakdown*

The costs for the content-related course programme in Qingdao (language course, materials, lectures, visits, etc.) are covered entirely by BayCHINA, i.e. there are no additional costs for this.

Participants are responsible for the following costs:

Visa: 160 euros

Travel (return trip): approx. 1000-1200 euros

Accommodation in an international student hall of residence at the University of Qingdao:

- in a double room: approx. 220 euros (60 CNY/day)

-in a single room: approx 440 euros (120 CNY/day)

Food (at the university canteen): 5-10 euros/day

* The expected costs are estimates based on experiences from last year and an exchange rate of 7.6 CNY/euro. Changes are therefore possible.

The application period for the BayIND Summer School 2026 has begun.
Apply to be a participant and experience an exciting journey through south India together in a group of 20 students from Bavaria.

Bavarian students in all subject areas and degree programmes can tour south India for three weeks with us and learn -on site- about studying opportunities, the country, the people, and the culture. As every year we are planning a diverse programme with lectures and project work with Indian students, visits to different companies, institutions, and start-ups and of course a lot of culture.

The 2026 Summer School is in the planning phase and is currently scheduled to take place:22 August - 12 September 2026

The preparatory workshop comprises two parts: an online seminar and a preparatory meeting at Hof University of Applied Sciences. 
The meeting in Hof is planned for 26 - 27 June 2026.
Participation in the workshop is mandatory.

India: PSGIM India Study Abroad 2026 Program | Application deadline: 31 May 2026

PSGIM India Study Abroad 2026 Program from 6 - 19 September 2026

In cooperation with the IGCHE, the PSG Institute of Management in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, organises a two-week academic programme, to introduce future specialists and managers to Indian culture, business, and technology.

The focus of this summer school is on intercultural skills and knowledge. Excursions to various companies and cultural field trips to the area around Coimbatore (Bangalore, Kerala, Nilgiri mountains) are also part of the programme.

Understanding India's Economy

The lectures will be held in English. Participants receive a certificate and 3 ECTS may be recognised (depending on previous agreement and your home university).

The summer school offers the opportunity to explore a country that occupies and will continue to occupy an important position in the global market.

The PSG Institute of Management, which is part of the PSG College of Technology, is an outstanding educational institution with which the IGCHE has been working for many years and with which it founded the PSGIAS German School of Technology in March 2025.

Details

Dates: 6 – 19 Sept 2026

Accommodation: The PSG Institute of Management provides places in the Jade Guest House. During multiple-day excursions, accommodation is also provided.

Travel: Please book flights individually and plan to arrive in Coimbatore by 6 September at the latest. When you arrive in Coimbatore, you will be picked up at the airport by PSG. Flights from Frankfurt to Bangalore (round trip) cost around 800 - 1000 euros.

Visas: We will provide assistance for requesting a visa. A visa for such trips to India is easy to apply for online, but please only use the official sites we will refer you to.

Insurance and vaccinations: Please take out travel health insurance / international health insurance for the duration of your trip. Ask your primary physician (at least two months in advance) about currently recommended vaccinations (there are no compulsory vaccinations).

Costs: The on-site programme including accommodation and meals, excursions, overnight stays, entrance fees etc. is subsidised by the DHIK and IGCHE support associations and costs 1,200 euros per person. So, the overall cost for each participant should be approximately 2,000 - 2,200 euros.

Eligibility: All students of DHIK member universities.

Number of places: 20

Application: As there are limited places, you must apply to participate. Please send your application, including a confirmation of enrolment, CV (in table format), and a brief personal statement (max. one page) to contact@igche.de.
