Students will experience the perfect blend of creativity, innovation, and technology in one of Europe’s top summer destinations.

The first week from 29 June to 3 July will be optional for international students who wish to attend the elective Croatian Language and Culture program.

The main program will take place from 6 to 24 July.

 

Our International Summer School is tailor-made to offer students an innovative choice of programs from various fields of digital technologies. Students can apply for one of the 6 programs in 4 major fields:

Our Scholarships program is open until 31 January 2026. Students can learn how to apply on the website.

Students can earn a minimum of 6 ECTS credits while exploring the capital city of Zagreb and the coastal town of Šibenik.

International students can earn an extra 4 ECTS credits in our free Croatian Language and Culture program, where they will discover interesting facts about Croatian culture and even learn a bit of Croatian to make them feel right at home!

The full tuition fee for students amounts to 1990.00 euro per program. For students from partner universities, the full partner tuition amounts to 1791.00 euro per program.

The Early Bird tuition fee amounts to 1691.50 euro per program. If your students apply before 15 March (Early Bird deadline) and cover the tuition costs by 31 March, the Early Bird partner tuition amounts to 1522.35 euro.

In case partners nominate a group of students, group discounts are calculated depending on the group size.

 

Tuition includes:

• Lunch on all class days

• Organized transportation between Zagreb and Šibenik

• Sightseeing tours in Zagreb and Šibenik

• Industry speakers and guest lecturers

• Specialized workshops

• Social events and student activities

 

We are also open to creating custom-made programs per the requirements of our partners for a group of at least 16 participants.

 

We ask our partners to send the official student nominations by mid-March 2026.

All participating students should submit their applications directly via our online application form.

As part of the admission procedure, we hold a short online interview with prospective students.

In case of a larger group, we organize group webinars to share all information about the program.

Austria: Winter School in Medical Engineering | Application deadline: 30 Dec 2025

The Department of Medical Engineering and the International Office would like to invite you to the seventh „Winter School in Medical Engineering“ which will take place from January 26 - 30, 2026.

 

The key areas will be: “Medical Simulations, Telemonitoring, Bioprinting and Materials”

 

Target groups: Students at the end of their bachelor’s/undergraduate studies (e.g. 5th semester) are invited to join us for five days and receive up to 2 ECTS (according to your individual recognition criteria). In addition to lectures and workshops, our program will include site visits and one optional day for cultural activities.

 

 

The application is possible from now on with deadline December 30th (23:59 CET), 2025. Students should contact us via e-mail (international@fh-linz.at) in order to receive an individual application link. Further details and updates will be also available on our Winter School Webpage.

The Global School in Empirical Research Methods (GSERM) is a world-class programme teaching methodology. 1. Program purpose

 

To learn how to speak and have conversations in Japanese, and to improve participants’ Japanese language proficiency.

 

2. Program contents

 

●Japanese Language Class(18 units):

We offer 5 different levels of courses: Introductory, N4, N3, N2

●cultural experiences(5 units):Tea ceremony, Japanese cooking, etc.

<For N2 and N3 level courses>

All lectures will be conducted in Japanese.

<For Introductory、N4 level courses>

All lectures will be conducted in English.

 

3. Requirements

ⅰ)Applicants must be enrolled at overseas universities

ⅱ)To take out overseas travel insurance which covers the whole period of the program(1/30 ~2/14)

ⅲ)Applicants must have Language Proficiency as below:

To have sufficient Japanese language for the course you wish to take. Also for the Introductory and N4 level courses, applicants are required to have English language sufficiency.

 

4. Participation Fee:

 

220,000 JPY(fees regarding textbook and Accommodation are included)

The applicant is required to ;

i be nominated by their home university. The home university must fill the designated Nomination Sheet, which is downloadable at our website, and send it to us at ryugaku_shien@ml.nagasaki-u.ac.jp. If there are multiple applicants for one course level, the home university must provide a recommendation order on the Nomination Sheet.

ii submit the Certificate of Enrollment (in English), which is issued by the home university, through the online application.

iii Nomination Sheet(This sheet should be sent to us by their home university That they are currently enrolled in.) *The nomination sheet must be submitted by applicant’s home university to ryugaku_shien@ml.nagasaki-u.ac.jp no later than November 14 (JST).

iv Copy of passport(must be submitted after the applicant is selected)

v Proof of an overseas travel insurance (After NU selects the participants, we require them to submit it. For those who do not submit, we will cancel their participation.)

 

6. Participant Selection

 

The selection result will be informed to the applicant’s home university via email by November 19.

 

7. Payment of the Participation Fee

Details will be informed along with a selection result.

Any fees related to the payment shall be borne by the participant. Refunds are not available.

*The figure of time on the schedule is Japan Standard Time

*Certificate of Completion will be issued for those who attend the whole program, from the opening ceremony to the closing ceremony, without any absence nor late attendance.

*If you change classes after participating, the cost of the textbooks for the new class will be borne by the participant (re-purchase).
