Open access to licenced services in the university network

The access authorisation is verified by IP address. Computers in the university network are assigned to the IP address range  141.75.*.* .
You can find your computer’s IP address via this link. However, this also means  that students and (academic) staff  can access most library services at home by  authenticating themselves in the university network  with the Central IT department. If accessing library services from home, we recommend using Nuremberg Tech’s  VPN or our proxy server .
Please note:
If you would like to access DIN norms on “Perinorm online” while off campus, this is only possible using the VPN (not the proxy server) and only if you also use Internet Explorer.
