Opening hours

Since the 2020/2021 winter semester, the library has opened its doors to its users in the new building at Keßlerplatz. This building provides four floors for learning and research purposes. The collections from the former Departmental and Central Library have been merged together to form one single collection.

The new rooms provide a pleasant working environment for all types of learners, from joint work in the group study rooms (please take note of the current restrictions here, as currently no group work is permitted anywhere in the library!), to study spaces in the open-access area and individual working booths, the so-called carrels.

Our media collections are distributed over the four floors as follows:

Ground floor: Textbook collection (shelf numbers: 05/...)

1st floor: Computer science, technology and engineering, natural sciences, architecture (shelf numbers 10/SB... - 10/ZY...)

2nd floor: Economics, geography (shelf numbers: 20/QB... - 20/R...)

3rd floor: General interest, education, social sciences (shelf numbers: 30/AB... - 30/PZ...)
