Frank Naujoks combines legal expertise with the realities of process engineering—in teaching, consulting, and professional journalism.

As CEO of Decker Verfahrenstechnik GmbH, an attorney, and spokesperson for DWA Working Group 2.36, he manages complex liability risks in the physical industry (environmental law/IED 2.0). As the responsible editor (V.i.S.d.P.) of the ongoing series “The Symbiotic Liability Trap” (ISSN 3055-0300), he also continuously analyzes and comments on regulatory and technical developments.
He applies this expertise in regulation and compliance to the digital realm at Nuremberg Tech: In his teaching, he focuses on media and data law as well as the legally compliant handling of information (GDPR, AI Act, IP law). He teaches students in the B-SDC, B-TJ, and M-IK programs how to act in a legally compliant manner and minimize risks even in highly regulated environments—whether in industry or in data science projects.

Starting in the 2026/27 winter semester, degree programs: B-SDC, B-UKJ with specializations in Technology Journalism/PR, Science Journalism/PR, and Political Communication/Public Affairs.
