In addition to discussions on topics related to internationalisation at the Ohm, the table will feature a little tombola where you can win coupons for drinks that you can redeem at the InternationalsierBar. In the InternationalisierBar, sangria (and more) will be served, you can do some salsa dancing, fold origami, or play Language Bingo.  The activities in the InternationalisierBar will take place between 1.00 - 3.00 pm. You can join us at the roundtable until 5.00 pm.

“Franken für das Leben”: DKMS Registration Drive

As part of the Bavaria-wide initiative “Franken für das Leben”, the Ohm is hosting a DKMS registration drive along with a number of other universities, municipalities, companies, associations, and sports clubs (including 1. FCN, SpVgg Greuther Fürth, HC Erlangen, and the Nürnberg Falcons).

It is easy to register as a potential stem cell donor (no cost for students).
You register by providing a cheek swab (that you do yourself) and you will need your smartphone / tablet (be sure to bring one!) directly at the roundtable.

Info stand: Institute for Chemistry, Materials, and Product Development (OHM-CMP)

The Institute for Chemistry, Materials, and Product Development (OHM-CMP) is the largest institute at the Ohm and carries out research and development projects on the synthesis and application of new materials, processing and production techniques, and product and application development. We also do research and development on the analytics and measurement methods needed to conduct our development work. Current focuses include printed electronics, additive manufacturing, hydrogen technologies and fuel cells, and the sustainable use and resource recover of polymers.
