Digital Object Identifier (DOI)

A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) can also be used for the permanent and unique locating of a digital publication. They are used in particular for online articles that have been published in academic journals, but also for many other electronically published information. Unlike URL addresses, a persistent identifier, such as a DOI, is permanently connected to a digital object.

As a member of the Ohm, if you would like to publish an electronic publication via our university papers server, OPUS, you have the opportunity to obtain a DOI for your document. To do this, write that you would like a DOI for your publication in the comments field on the entry form.
