The OHM Choir

The student choir at Nuremberg Tech is open to students from all Faculties.

Pieces, mostly selected from the pop music genre, are studied during the semester and performed at the end of the semester as part of events and concerts.
 

Time and location of choir practice at Nuremberg Tech

Choir practice is always held during teaching periods of the current semester on Tuesdays from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm in the “Theatersaal” (Building BL, room T01).

Notice: It is only possible to join the choir at the start of a semester. Unfortunately, it is unable to accept new members after this time due to upcoming performances.

The Giga-Ohm Band

Nuremberg Tech’s big band - The big band comprises students, faculty, and staff from Nuremberg Tech.

The band plays classic big band jazz, but the programme also includes Latin and pop pieces. A concert is scheduled at the end of the semester and the band also performs at university events.

Open spots in the band are published in the university’s networks.
