The student counseling team at Nuremberg Tech will be happy to help you should you require personal and individual counseling in connection with your studies.

Orientation and degree programme selection: We will provide you with counseling for all questions on the subject of selecting the right degree programme and will support you when it comes to making decisions; we will also provide you with information concerning the content of the degree programmes and their requirements, and we will help you to find information.

Successfully completing your studies: We will also provide you with counseling and support during your studies, for example in the event that you encounter difficulties or fail exams, or in the event that you have questions concerning examination legalities and regulations and the organization of studies, as well as if you have any misgivings concerning the course of your studies to date, and we will help you to find a solution.

To contact us for a consultation appointment by video, please contact studienberatungatth-nuernbergPunktde. We will then arrange an individual appointment with you and give you the necessary access information. 

We use the CGM ELVI tool for video consultations. This is a software for video consultation hours - independent of location and uncomplicated. It is TÜV-certified and meets the technical and data protection requirements and is therefore particularly suitable for personal consultations.

These are the advantages of this tool:

  • Easy to use
  • No special IT knowledge is required for the use of ELVI.
  • No download, no installation: To use ELVI, simply visit https://beratung.elvi.de/ and log in with your access data. You will receive the access data in advance by email from the Student Counseling Service. 
  • Via ELVI, files can be viewed and exchanged together in accordance with data protection regulations.
  • The Student Counseling Service regularly offers online presentations in German about different topics related to studying at Nuremberg Tech. Join us and ask all of your questions about studying at university and our degree programmes.
  • Twice each year, Nuremberg Tech holds our “Studieninfotage” during which we present all of our bachelor’s degree programmes. In the spring, you can participate in the online presentations about the application process and the bachelor’s programmes. In the fall, you can visit the campus to hear about practical applications related to our bachelor’s programmes, tour our labs, and get a real impression of university life.
  • Our Student Counseling Portal allows you to access information and counseling online, anonymously, and at any time.   It’s easy and uncomplicated.
