Researching for papers and presentations

We cannot do the research or write for you, but we can show you how you can search for specialised books or articles quickly and effectively. Within a 90-minute session, you will gain an overview of the library catalogue (OPAC) and a selection of literature databases. You will also have the opportunity to do some initial searching.

Citation management with Zotero

This 90-minute session will provide you a basic introduction to the citation management system, Zotero. You will learn how to ...

  • add sources in Zotero,
  • structure your literature list,
  • read and annotate full-text articles,
  • manage citations and notes and use them in Word.

Please install Zotero on your own device before the session.

Workshop: Researching for your final thesis

The first stop for everyone who is about to begin their final thesis, because this workshop focuses on know-how: We develop appropriate research strategies and formulate searches, identify suitable databases, and carry out initial research. And there is still time for questions and exchange with other participants.
