Description

The physical presence of people was drastically reduced for health reasons during this epidemic emergency, leading to many disadvantages in daily life. This meant numerous challenges for businesses regarding communication, collaboration, presentation, and qualification. Travel restrictions, particularly in the largest industrial nations, such as the USA, China, and Japan, posed immense challenges for the export-oriented Bavarian and German mechanical and plant engineering companies. The core aim of this project, within the context of the current need for digitalisation, was to train and qualify employees in Bavaria’s medium-sized manufacturing companies regarding the numerous diverse potential applications of digital twins and virtual commissioning.
