Applying

To apply, you have to use our application portal, SoleMove, for the Ohm International Summer School 2026. You will have to register for an account for the portal.

Register for SoleMove

Shortly after you register for the platform, you will receive an email from SoleMove (noreply@solemove.fi) that contains your login information. You can then begin the application process.

Required documents

The following documents must be submitted with your application:

• Brief personal statement^*
• A CV presented in chronological order and without any gaps
• Confirmation of enrolment (graduates should submit the final official transcript for their degree)

^*Applicants for the Confident and Effective Communication course, please include an answer to the following question in your personal statement: Which skills would you like to have learned after completing the course?

These instructions will show you step-by-step how to complete your application.

The application deadline is 10 May 2026.

Please note: Spaces are limited and will be allocated in the order in which applications are received. So being quick can pay off!
 

Admission

After receiving your application, your documents will be reviewed and we will reply as promptly as possible.
You will receive an invoice for the participation fees along with your acceptance letter. Please transfer the payment for the fees to the account on the invoice within two weeks. As soon as the payment is received, your spot at the Ohm-ISS 2026 will be set.

Participation fee

To participate in one of the four summer school courses in 2026 a fee of 800 euros will be charged.  An early bird price of 700 euros is available for applications received by 1 March 2026.

The fee comprises tuition and an administrative fee. The regulatory basis and information about cancellations is available below.

Cancellation

You can withdraw from the Ohm-ISS 2026 until 10 May at no additional cost.

After 11 May a cancellation fee of 250 euros will be charged.

After 30 June a cancellation fee of 450 euros will be charged.

In addition, for a price of 250 euros you can take part in our extensive cultural and leisure programme, which includes various half- and whole-day excursions and cultural and sports activities.

Accommodation costs are not included in the fees for the Ohm International Summer School. You must make your own accommodation arrangements. Helpful information about finding accommodations is available on this website.
