THINK International

THINK International - The programme at the Ohm aimed at promoting international and intercultural skills.

The purpose of THINK International is to promote the internationalisation of the Ohm to a higher level, to increase mobility for further and continued professional development purposes, and therefore to expand the range of qualification.

The existing Erasmus+ staff mobility programme has been expanded to include two further components. After completing a total of three components, the individual will receive an “International Certificate” awarded by the Ohm in two languages (German and English). A copy of the certificate is kept in the relevant staff member’s file.

The three components for obtaining the International Certificate

Requirements:

  • Evidence of participation in a language course in the relevant working language of the intended Erasmus staff mobility, achieving at least level B1/B2
  • The language course comprises at least 24 teaching units (TU)
  • If the necessary linguistic proficiency already exists, this must be demonstrated by taking a language test at the Language Center (does not apply to native speakers)

Block B: Participation in the “Interkulturelle Kompetenz für Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter in Lehre und Verwaltung” (intercultural skills for teaching and management staff) course at the Ohm
