The University Service for Family, Equality, and Occupational Health (HSFG) at the Nuremberg Institute of Technology supports the university in the implementation of the equality mandate and the General Act on Equal Treatment (Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz, AGG).

With regard to equality, the HSFG advises female students, professors, and academic staff on issues relating to the advancement of women, in particular the advancement of young female academics. The HSFG also supports the university’s Women’s Affairs Officer with the development and implementation of Nuremberg Tech’s equality concept, as well as with the design and implementation of their projects. In 2018 and 2022, Nuremberg Tech was awarded the TOTAL E-QUALITY rating for its activities in the field of equal opportunities for men and women.
