Description

Digital learning spaces pose the risk of students becoming isolated. Flexibility in terms of time and location decreases normal social interaction and hinders social integrity within the learning community. While familiar interaction forms are used unconsciously during in-presence teaching, interactions in the digital space must be consciously developed. However, teachers and students lack the knowledge of how to develop motivational and effective teaching opportunities.
