Description

The long-lasting trend in the construction industry, but also in the aviation and automotive industry, has been the increasing use of ever lighter construction materials, such as concrete, plaster, masonry, construction products, bricks and tiles, porcelain and technical ceramics, etc. Lightweight materials are increasingly interesting due to their resistance and versatility, particularly for construction and infrastructure tasks. The aim of this project was to maximise the reduction in shard heat conductivity through nano-porosification of the brick ceramics.
