The bioprocess engineering laboratory courses take place in KT.320. In addition, final thesis work, student projects, and research and development projects are also carried out in this lab. Standard equipment is also available for conducting bioprocess engineering projects, various bioreactors, and a lighted, temperature-controlled shaker for cultivating microorganisms:

• lighted xCubio twin bioreactor and lighted tubular bioreactor from bbi-biotech

• Minifors 1 and 2 bioreactors from Infors

• illuminated, temperature-controlled shaker for the cultivation of microorganisms, in particular micro-algae

• and standard equipment such as freezer (-80 °C), autoclave, scales, pH meter, ...
