Introduction to the Faculty of Applied Chemistry

The Faculty of Applied Chemistry is currently the only “chemistry faculty” at any university of applied sciences in Bavaria. The two degree programmes offered by the Faculty combine content from chemistry, process engineering, and biology/biochemistry. Around 500 bachelor’s and master’s students are currently taking up this offer.

Bachelor’s degree programme in Applied Chemistry

In its bachelor’s degree programme, which spans seven semesters, the Faculty offers the following three specialisations:

• Chemistry
• Biochemistry
• Technical chemistry

After successfully completing your bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry (including other comparable degree programmes), you will have the opportunity to further the knowledge you have gained in our master’s programme.
