Welcome!

Welcome to the Social Work: Lifelong Education (EBL) programme!

We are delighted that you have decided to pursue your degree at the Ohm. We look forward to supporting you throughout your studies and wish you a great start at the Ohm.

As a first step, please set up your university email account using the login details provided in the StudyOhm application portal. Please complete any missing personal information in VirtuOhm and upload a photograph, so your Ohmcard can be issued. If you have technical questions, please contact virtuohm@th-nuernberg.de.

The Welcome Event will take place on:

Thursday, 1 October 2026

2.00 pm

Room BB.203

This event will mark the beginning of your first block seminar. Classes are generally held on Thursdays from 2.00 - 7.00 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 8.30 am - 5.30 pm. Please note, however, that the sessions do not follow a fixed fortnightly pattern. An overview of all scheduled seminars is available as an attachment. A detailed schedule is available in Moodle.

Your classes will take place in the BL building at Bahnhofstraße 87 and the BB building at Bahnhofstraße 90. Detailed directions are available on our website under ‘Campus B: Bahnhofstraße’. The BL building also has secure bicycle storage, which is accessible next to the rear entrance to the building (on the Wöhrder Wiese side).

More information about your degree programme is available in the ‘Studienführer’ (Degree programme guide). Please use it as your first point of reference for any questions you may have.

We look forward to meeting you in person!
