The main aim of the development project Encouraging Boys to Read is to use school events to combine exciting stories, inspiring male guests to read aloud, and activities that interest, fascinate and amuse boys with reading in such a way as to awaken the long-term desire to read in participating pupils. The greatest possible degree of publicity will be achieved through the involvement of the press and media.
