The Physical Computing Lab (HQ.414) is available to staff and students who want to work on projects on the interface between the virtual and physical world. For this purpose, there are several 3D printers for (functional) 3D printing and various special accessories that can be used to link electronic components to them.

These include:

  • A range of 3D printers (FDM and SLA)
  • Filament splicers and special filaments
  • Electronic workstation (soldering station, oscilloscope, power supplies, measuring devices)
  • Numerous measuring devices for various environmental data, etc.
  • Various IoT microcontrollers, development boards, and mini computers
    • ESP8266, ESP32, TTGO T-Call, TTGO CAM, ESP EYE, Heltec CubeCell Lora
    • Raspberry Pi 3 and 4, camera, Coral Edge TPU, Jetson Nano
  • Numerous IoT components
    • Sensor systems
    • Actuators
    • Transceivers
