Research at the efi Faculty

efi is among the most active Faculties at the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg in research.

Its research profile is defined by a team of 17 professors who are active in research (page in German), modern facilities, and strong scientific networks. Research also firmly anchors our teaching and academic programmes.

In addition, the Faculty offers the Applied Research in Engineering Sciences master’s programme (MAPR), which provides targeted preparation for academic research and creates a foundation for pursuing doctoral studies.
