Energy Engineering

In the past few decades, the Faculty of Process Engineering has developed significant expertise in energy engineering. We wish to continue expanding that expertise. In order to achieve that, we are not only actively involved in the Competence Center for Energy Engineering, but also in the Nuremberg Campus of Technology (NCT).

Nuremberg Campus of Technology (NCT)

The Nuremberg Campus of Technology (NCT), which is the technical and scientific research platform of the two partners in the collaboration – the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) and Nuremberg Institute of Technology (THN) – is oriented towards the technical challenges and opportunities facing the cities of the future as a result of the switch to a new energy system, the increased drive towards sustainability, and the latest threats to security.
