We invite you to our expert talk: Research meets practice - “Netzintegration von Batteriespeichern zur Sektorenkopplung”

📍 Where: Ohm Innovation Center (OIC), Brucknerstraße 11, 90429 Nürnberg

📅 Date: 28 January 2026

🕑 Time: 2.00 - 6.00 pm

Why should you participate?

The energy transition demands intelligent solutions for integrating battery banks into the network and linking different sectors. In this free workshop, we are bringing experts from industry and research together to discuss current developments and practical approaches that will meet this demand. In addition, the workshop is designed to inform small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to promote their access to innovative technologies and their use in practice.

The BaLista project team

EFRE BaLista - Transfer of knowledge and technology for the coupling of battery systems with Li-ion cells, electrolysis, and stationary fuel cell systems for energy storage in decentralised energy systems

Project duration: October 2024 - June 2027

EFRE - The European fund for regional development in Bavaria, the new Bavarian EFRE programme, invests in creating equitable living and working conditions across the entire state and has focuses in the areas of innovation, SME-support, climate change mitigation, environmental conservation, and for municipalities.

The BaLista project supports technology transfer from universities to SMEs - in two areas:

  1. - optimising the integration of stationary energy storage systems into the grid in terms of both power and energy
  2. - sector coupling through energy storage in decentralised networks
