EFRE BaLista - Knowledge and technology transfer for sector coupling of battery systems with Li-ion cells, electrolysis and stationary fuel cell systems for energy storage in decentralized energy systems

Project duration: October 2023 - June 2027

EFRE - The European fund for regional development in Bavaria, the new Bavarian EFRE programme, invests in creating equitable living and working conditions across the entire state and has focuses in the areas of innovation, SME-support, climate change mitigation, environmental conservation, and for municipalities.

The project BaLista supports technology transfer from universities to SMEs and has two fields of focus:

1. optimal grid integration of stationary energy storage systems in terms of performance and energy
2. sector coupling through energy storage in decentralized grids
