Rising energy costs, increasingly stringent environmental requirements, and the demand for sustainable solutions are presenting textile cleaners and laundries with new challenges. At the same time, innovative technologies offer significant potential to reduce operating costs and resource consumption.

Topics at the event:

 1. Innovative water treatment for laundry processes

This presentation will feature a newly developed prototype for the recovery and treatment of wastewater from domestic washing machines. The system combines several technologies to create a closed-loop water and heat recovery cycle:

  • Closed-loop water management concepts
  • Filtration systems for water treatment
  • Distillation for water purification
  • Heat pump technology for increased energy efficiency
  • Reducing microplastic release as an additional benefit

The concepts presented provide valuable possibilities for conserving water resources and improving sustainability in the textile care sector.

2. Heat pumps in textile cleaning and laundry operations

Heat pumps are becoming increasingly important in commercial applications. The event will include presentations on current approaches to:

3. The future of steam production in laundry operations
