At the same time, innovative technologies offer significant potential to reduce operating costs and resource consumption.

1. Innovative water treatment for laundry processes

This presentation will feature a newly developed prototype for the recovery and treatment of wastewater from domestic washing machines. The system combines several technologies to create a closed-loop water and heat recovery cycle:

Closed-loop water management concepts
Filtration systems for water treatment
Distillation for water purification
Heat pump technology for increased energy efficiency
Reducing microplastic release as an additional benefit
