What do we offer?

The KAM is also available as a reliable partner for the formulation of joint projects and for grant applications. In collaboration with regional and interregional networks, the Ohm is your research and development partner to help you to start work on specific developments, whether large or small, and take them to the application stage.

Projects

The KAM is ready to be your partner for the planning and execution of small and large projects.

You will have the full breadth of the Ohm’s expertise available to help you find your materials sciences solution. Whether you prefer small-scale bilateral projects or your problem requires a large-scale consortial project with various partners from the research and industry sectors, the KAM can help you from analysis of the problem through to developing a suitable solution. The KAM is as able to take on the preparation of projects as it is the execution and management of an ongoing project.

The KAM also has other partners and resources available across regional and interregional networks, which can be called upon on request, meaning that all aspects of materials research can be covered even if they are not a speciality of the Ohm.

Analytics and testing

The Competence Center for Analytics, Nano- and Materials Technology makes available a wide variety of analytical and testing methods.

From an element analysis through to (micro)structural analysis of materials, from spectroscopic methods via thermal procedures to rheology, and determining material properties, such as electrical conductivity, surface properties or mechanical testing, KAM can provide access to this broad spectrum.
