Research work

In addition to teaching, the Concrete and building material technology lab is also used for a wide range of independent and third party-funded research work and projects.
Independent student research is offered as an elective as part of the education we provide. This should enable students to learn and study scientific work and assessments within lab operations by working on smaller projects with partners from the building industry and business.
In addition, the lab is also used for research projects and contract research in various areas of the building materials industry.
