Load and electricity storage management in cellular energy systems – “LSM-ZellE”

This project involves the development of an innovative, model-predictive control concept to optimize load management of energy systems in urban housing structures (load and electricity storage management in cellular energy systems “LSM-ZellE”)

InnoProSys

Technology transfer for innovative products and systems in the field of efficient supply technology using heat and cooling and generating electricity from waste heat – “InnoProSys”.

NDSens

The project focuses on the area of refrigeration technology and addresses current industry developments and requirements for energy efficiency technologies and digitalization of system technology.

MicroRankine

This project focuses on the utilization of waste heat from CHP plants and aims to determine the current requirements for efficient, decentralized technologies for power generation, which will be necessary in future to stabilize the grid when renewable energies are unable to cater to demand.

Energy storage systems based on a high-temperature regenerator (Q Regenerator)

This project covers power storage by means of conversion into heat (power to heat) and addresses the current requirements for efficient, decentralized technologies for intermediate power storage, which will be necessary in future to stabilize the grid when renewable energies are not able to cater to all power demand.

Micro-steam turbine

This project focuses on the subject of increasing the efficiency of thermal engines, such as CHP or gas turbines for combined heat and power generation.
