The various fields of household water management, including water supply, wastewater disposal, and wastewater treatment, are covered as part of the bachelor’s degree programme. To support the lecture content, students also complete practical exercises in the Household water management lab. This includes determining the water and wastewater parameters as they are determined in treatment plants, for example. The bachelor’s degree programme also includes an advanced module that covers the fields of sewer construction and redevelopment, and water quality and contaminated sites. Master’s students cover local, regional, and global aspects of water resource management using current examples.
