The Alumni and Friends Association of the Faculty of Materials Engineering

is an association of alumni of the Faculty of Materials Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg and since 2013 of the Faculty of Materials Engineering at the Nuremberg Institute of Technology (abbreviated to AuF).

The AuF is currently (2017) headed up by:

• Honorary Chair – Peter Riedhammer (Riedhammer Ofenbau, Nuremberg)
• Chair – Prof. Kurt-Martin Beinborn, Professor in the Faculty of Materials Engineering
• Treasurer – Prof. Simon Reichstein, Dean of the Faculty of Materials Engineering
• Secretary – Silke Weber, Secretary in the Faculty of Materials Engineering
