Student roles in our research team

At IFAI, students are not only involved - they actively shape what we do. From the idea to the final application, students are an integral part of our interdisciplinary research and development projects. Typically 5 student assistants are engaged at any time - over 125 students have contributed to the research and development at the institute in total.

The following possibilities are open to students

• Student assistants
  An ideal entry to research and development - with direct practical experience and individual supervision.
   
• Bachelor’s and master’s theses
  Realise your own research idea, advance topics in applied computer science, and be a part of developing real solutions.
   
• Student projects
  Work on complex systems in small teams - e.g. for visualisation, data analysis, or AI applications.

Research at IFAI is open, relevant, and participative.
