Technologies with real impact.

At IFAI, we are not only developing visionary concepts – we bring research directly into application. Our digital products show how applied computer science becomes reality: through real solutions with social and economic benefits.

Applied research for products with sustainable benefits

Our applications are more than outcomes – they are also the drivers of our research:

  • They finance part of our work.
  • They provide valuable data and momentum for new scientific problems.
  • They support transfer projects that directly connect research and application.

Applied computer science at IFAI means: real dolutions. For real challenges.

Our products at a glance

Hochschuljobbörse – career platform for students

Hochschuljobbörse.de is a career platform that was developed and is operated by the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg. It purposefully brings students, graduates, and companies together. It offers access to internships, working student positions, and entry-level jobs, while also serving as a valuable research base for the analysis of labour market trends, text composition, and matching procedures. Its continuous operation enables the validation of our AI models in real-world conditions.

“Praxistage” – career orientation meets practice

The “Praxistage” combine education with real requirements in practice. In structured event series, students gain insight into practical situations and can develop their professional orientation. At the same time, companies benefit from direct access to young talent and authentic feedback. The data obtained through the “Praxistage” is used to investigate transfer processes and to develop digital matching methods.

Social marketing for companies – career communication on a level playing field

Our social media channels, in particular the @hochschuljobboerse Instagram channel, bridge science communication, employer branding, and data-based research. Targeted analysis of reach, engagement, and topic interest yields new insights into digital communication formats. This makes social media a communication platform, field of observation, and research tool all at once.
