Ohm Shop General Terms and Conditions

1. Exchanges and returns free-of-charge

You can return any items purchased in the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm’s Ohm Shop within 14 days after receipt for any reason and without charge. The return address is available on the invoice.
Notification of a return within this timeframe via email, telephone, or mail is adequate to comply with the time limit.

In the event of a return, the contract shall be dissolved and any payments received shall be credited after delivered goods have been returned.
If returned goods show traces of use or damage, we reserve the right to claim compensation.

2. Damages in transit

The Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm assumes transport risk. If goods are received with damage accrued in transport, please make use of the returns and exchange policy (see section 1 of the Terms and Conditions).
If the goods consist of multiple components, please return the goods in the condition it was delivered and - as far as possible - use the original packaging.

3. Shipping costs (does not apply to cash purchases)

Usually, standard shipping costs of 4.00 euros is charged for purchases made in the Ohm Shop, regardless of the value of the order. This covers all costs for postage/transport charges and packaging. For collect-on-delivery orders, additional costs are a cash-on-delivery charge in the amount of 3.58 euros and a transfer fee from the Post AG of 1.53 euros. If, in exceptional cases, we need to invoice a larger sum, this will be indicated in advance in the order confirmation.
If an order must be shipped in multiple stages for technical or logistical reasons, we will only charge shipping costs one time.

4. Delivery provision

We deliver goods subject to availability. Delivery is only possible within Germany.

5. Retention of proprietary rights

Until payment has been received in full, the goods remain property of the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm.

6. Payment

Payment options for goods are by bank transfer in advance, collection upon delivery, or in cash if goods are collected directly. The Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm reserves the right to exclude certain payment methods in individual cases.
Sending cash or checks is an accepted form of payment. We do not assume liability in the event such payments are lost.
In the case of returns, the invoice amount may be reduced accordingly.

7. Data protection

The personal data required for the business transaction will be stored and, if necessary, passed on to departments associated with order processing. All personal data will of course be handled confidentially.
