1994 - 1999:
Studies in mechanical/process engineering at Technischen Universität München, focus on flow simulation, process simulation, design of apparatus and and design for strength

1999 - 2005:
Scientific assistant at the Institute for apparatus and plant design of the Technische Universität München,
research topic: numerical simulation of tube bundle vibrations

2006 - 2013:
TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH, until 2011 Department thermo and fluid dynamics (thermal hydraulics, flow simulation, hydrogen explosions, jet forces from leaks in pipes, damage analysis, energy efficiency), since 2011 performance test engineer in the plant engineering division (energy efficiency, efficiency and performance measurements of power plants and large compressor units)

since April 2013:
Professor at the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, process engineering department
