Prof. Dr. Monte Wynder from the Australian University of the Sunshine Coast as guest lecturer at the TH Nürnberg

This summer term 2017, students and employees might have realized the new face in our Business faculty: Prof. Dr. Monte Wynder. He did spend the summer term 2017 lecturing in 4 different courses at IB, MIFE and BW Master Level thanks to the Bavarian State Program to enforce international native speaking lecturing. Prof. Monte Wynders impressions on his time in Nürnberg:

The partnership between the University of the Sunshine Coast and TH-Nuernberg offers wonderful opportunities for staff and students. It has been great for me to reconnect with long-time friend and colleague, Professor Kai-Uwe Wellner, and to meet new colleagues like Professor Fees and Professor Rogers. I have also enjoyed meeting and teaching the students – they are exceptional and a credit to their professors. I hope to see some of them (two Nürnberg Master students did apply already for a Master Exchange in the winter term 2017/18 at the USC) come to the University of the Sunshine Coast, so I can welcome them to our beautiful beaches, friendly kangaroos, and of course our great teachers and academics. As Prof. Florian Riedmüller did in 2015. I also hope that my Australian students will come to TH-Nuernberg to learn from the professors who have so much practical experience, get to meet and interact with such an international cohort of students, and enjoy this beautiful city. I really appreciate the opportunity that I have had to come to TH-Nuernberg, the friendly support form everyone in the International (Mrs. Almander) and the Faculty Offices (too many to name), and look forward to a continuing productive and enjoyable partnership. Especially the Offsites with Prof. Fees in Oberschleichach and with Prof. Wellner in Kloster Banz with the BW and MIFE Master students were amzing impressions and experiences for the students and me. I hope that this partnership will continue in the future on that strong academic and personal basis. I'll be back ...
