The 8th edition of Linnaeus University International Staff Training will take place during May 11th - 15th, 2020 in the cities of Växjö and Kalmar, the two campuses of Linnaeus University in Sweden. 

The week will offer both faculty and staff opportunities to learn and share about competencies, skills and tools required for working in intercultural environments within higher education. Staff training and professional development will take place through various workshops with both international participants as well as staff and faculty from Linnaeus University, and through job-shadowing colleagues at Linnaeus University.

Italy: 2nd International Staff Training Week focused on “Civic Universities and sustainable development”| Application Deadline 31.03.2020

The University of L’Aquila has the pleasure to invite you to the 2nd International Staff Training Week focused on “Civic Universities and sustainable development” (Dates: 11/05/2020-13/05/2020).

This event aims at exploring the different aspects of the topic and will give the participants the opportunity to network and share their best practices with colleagues from European and non-European universities.

Furthermore, our guests will have the chance of visiting different departments and units: the library system, the administrative offices, the technological transfer office, the international projects office, the international relations office, etc.

Hungary: Intercultural Staff Training at ELTE, 8-12 June 2020| Application Deadline 16.02.2020

The training will be held from 8th to 12th June 2020 and targeted mainly at staff members of higher education institutions who work with international students and staff on a day-to-day basis and have at least one year of work experience in this area.

The training program aims to promote intercultural skills and competencies especially for those who engage in intercultural encounters in their everyday work and feel that they need to further develop their skills to be more successful.
Those who participate in the whole training receive a Certificate of Attendance at the end.

The participation fee is 150 EUR, which includes the complimentary lunch of the first day, welcome package, work materials, cultural programs, coffee breaks, and farewell dinner.

The application deadline is 16th February 2020.

International Staff Week, from 18th– 22nd May 2020 at the University of Trento

This event is aimed at creating network opportunities, sharing best practices and training our and your skills in a stimulating context.

The five-day programme includes workshops and sessions on Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility KA107: best practices and challenges of management; dissemination activities; mobility impact and on Soft Skills and Global Competences, as well as cultural and social activities.

A confirmation on acceptance will be sent via email to all applicants by mid April.
