Working from home

In variation from the regulation in the establishment agreement (Dienstvereinbarung), the following procedures have been agreed with the staff council (Personalrat) for the approval and accounting of mobile hours (Mobile Arbeit) and are in effect until further notice:

  • A request for Mobile Arbeit in Atoss is no longer necessary. Instead, an informal request for Mobile Arbeit should be submitted to the supervisor via email. After the mobile hours have been completed, staff should account for the time worked in Atoss using the Stempelsatzgenehmigung function to submit the actual hours worked. To a limited extent, this permits more than or less than the planned regular working hours.
  • Deviations from the regular working hours in terms of absolute time or over a longer time period are only possible with direct agreement from your supervisor.

Current guidelines for employees during the corona pandemic

General

  • Never come to work ill
  • Maintain physical distance and follow the general hygiene guidelines
  • Wear a face mask
  • Ventilate rooms

Conduct at work:

  • Organize working hours so meetings of multiple staff are avoided
  • Organisation of operations
  • Avoid in-person meetings
  • Alternating or staggered breaks
  • Cleaning working materials

Mobile hours, leave of absence:

  • Mobile hours are available to staff
  • Leaves of absence due to necessary childcare

Provisions for specific groups of people:

  • Risk groups receive preventative occupational medical care
  • Maternity protection for pregnant and nursing people
  • In-person contact with third-party contractors must be minimized

University events, travel for professional development, official cars:

  • University events are suspended until further notice.
  • Travel for professional development is only permitted, if absolutely necessary.

Psychological stress / psychological counseling

  • The university offers psychological counseling

Contact with the coronavirus

  • Entry on campus not permitted
  • Employees with the infection are unfit for work
  • In contact cases, employees are unfit for work
